La statua di Gesų coronato di spine, raffigura
il Nazareno con la canna posta tra le mani, a mo' di scettro,
con la corona di spine che gli cinge il capo e sulle spalle
un liso manto regale. Č sicuramente l'immagine che, tra
le cinque, ha maggiori pregi scultorei. La figura č ben
costruita, dalle linee classiche, con un'anatomia del nudo
trattata con maggiore maestria; solo nel lato posteriore
sono evidenti dei difetti dovuti al forte schiacciamento
del manto alla spalla. La statua si suole denominarla "Ecce
Homo".

The statue of Jesus crowned with thorns,
represents the Nazarene with the cane set between the hands,
in way of sceptre, with the crown of thorns that encircles
the head and on his shoulders a white regal mantle on his
shoulders. It is surely the image that, of the five ones,
has the greatest sculptural value. The figure is well built,
with its classic lines, with an anatomy of the nude dealt
with great skill; only in the posterior side some defects
are clear because of the strong crushing of the mantle on
the shoulder . The statue is used to be called "Ecce Homo".
